Armed Forces Celebration - Hero Appreciation Months 2026 - Jerry Salas
The March Celebration honored Vietnam Veteran Jerry Salas for his service. In a very entertaining presentation, Jerry covered his childhood, induction into the military, service in Vietnam, and his switch from military driver to musician entertaining the troops. He then covered his return stateside and eventually becoming a part of the famed band "El Chicano". Finally, he concluded by playing the very song that helped change his life.
