The 14th Annual Bathtub Race, part of the 20th year of Hero Appreciation Months in Three Rivers, was successfully run on March 31st, 2026. This event, held as usual at the Kaweah Recreation Area of Lake Kaweah, drew 4 teams. The winner, Team Floats, completed the race first to earn the $1,300 prize money for their charity of choice, the Comfort for Kids Program.

Firefighter/EMS Celebration, January 2026, Hero Appreciation Months
Captain Blake Garrison and Paramedic Adam Bell were both honored for their service to the community of Three Rivers. This was part of the 20th year of the annual Hero Appreciation Months event. On January 30th, 2026, the event was held at the Bequette House, on the grounds of the Three Rivers Historical Museum. You can see the video of the event there:
20th Annual Hero Appreciation Months
January 1, 2026 through March 31, 2026
Hero Appreciation Months is a Senior League program! 2026 is the 20th year of this 3 month program that honors our First Responders/Law Enforcement/Armed Forces. Firefighter/EMS Celebration is January 31st at Bequette House at 7pm.
Once again, there are three special Celebrations, one each month:
January 30th 2026 is the Firefighter/EMS event
February 27th 2026 is the Law Enforcement event
March 27th 2026 is the Armed Forces event
All three events will be held at Bequette House on the grounds of the Three Rivers Historical Museum. Events begin at 4pm with free refreshments provided.
Finally, the Bathtub Race is at Lake Kaweah on March 28th at 11am.
